Working at Genesis provides the opportunity to work on high caliber projects with high caliber clients. The ability to coordinate with S/MEP/FP trades under the same roof results in better coordinated and higher quality finished products than possible anywhere else
When I moved to Tennessee for work it was with a large firm. Turned out that life wasn’t for me. Large firm life left me defeated and my confidence shaken. Working with the team at Genesis has been not only restorative for my confidence, but has helped me grow from existing in my work to truly appreciating and feeling purposeful in a greater goal through my work. The leadership, mentoring, and team environment has helped build my career far more than I’d have dreamed.
Genesis has provided me with unmatched opportunities to grow and excel in our industry. I started with simple structural engineering tasks, and was guided thoughtfully to lead my own Structural projects. I quickly realized this was only the beginning. Through the necessary coordination required to provide our clients with standout products, I gained an affinity for the MEP services we provide as well. Along the way, senior leadership at Genesis allowed me the opportunity to gain the trust of our clients and serve them proudly. Now an Associate, and SMEP/FP project manager, I’m proud to say I have enjoyed the process every step of the way
Despite significant personnel growth since I first started six years ago, the company has managed to maintain a warm and tight-knit family atmosphere. I joined the team as an anxious and indecisive EIT. Now I am a confident and slightly-less-anxious PE with design-lead and project management experience. I owe that to a leadership team who has always supported me, challenged me, and made me feel valued. Genesis leaders build new leaders, and I am very grateful for their investment in me.
Meet the hardworking people that make up Genesis Engineering. With their help, we’re creating a dynamic culture that draws top industry talent and long-term clients who want the utmost quality in comprehensive engineering design.
